I hope your year is going well. Just a few updates:

1. This week we are having a math test on Thursday on whole numbers we are reviewing in class.

2.  I ask that all homework be passed in on Friday every week.

The school year is going very well so far! Our class has been learning about explorers and exploration in Social Studies and we have contacted a local exploration group called Trekk.it T.V. We have e-mailed Trekk.it T.V. and are waiting to see if they can come visit our classroom to speak with us about their adventures.          We are learning about rocks and minerals in Science and have done some experiments. In Language Arts we are working on reading comprehension and writing recounts (stories that have happened to us). The area we are covering in Math is number sense up to 10 000.
